The job i would like to apply for is a character artist or a creature artist.
- I am able to work in groups very well and can communicate my views with them effectively.
- I am hardworking and will always try and achieve the goals i set.
- I have attended talks with people from codemasters who talked about how they got to the position there in right now and what it is like.
- I visited Staffordshire university and visited the games design area and got to talk to the students about what their experience is like.
In college i did many projects that helped me to decide the path i wanted to take when i came to applying for jobs. In my German expressionism project i was able to experiment with they history of what happened. I did this by exploring all the context of what happened and how it made the people in germany feel and i used that to create my final piece. Also in my FMP, i created both a character and a creature and doing this allowed me to explore the two aspect of games artist that i was curious and like the look of. In secondary school i did art and i was able to get an A* out of it so i have a good understanding of art and its terminology.
I am able to play the keyboard to a degree and have created two of my own songs in school. I also read a lot of books which helps to widen my imagination and it helps me to create backstories as well.
