Why do companies implement micro transactions?
Companies implement micro transactions for many reasons. One reason could be because the game they produced cost them a lot of money and therefore need extra money to be made so they can gain profit to then produce another game or because all are only interested in gaining more money.
What companies use them?
Companies like Nexon, AAA and EA are a few examples of companies that use micro transactions.
How much money can a company make from micro transactions?
For Example, EA makes a lot of profit from micro transactions.
What is your view of micro transactions?
My view on micro transactions is that the company is using to exploit players and it shows they care less for the players and are more interested in the money.
Are micro transactions a form of gambling?
In a way, micro transactions are a form of gambling because you can buy crates of certain games and gain a weapon and you can either keep it or sell it for a profit which is just like gambling for anything else. However, it is not a physical item.
Do you think there should be restrictions in place for micro transactions?
